Well what a weekend, travelled down friday evening got up 3am saturday morning to go and conquer. THE CLIMB First hour and a half spent going the wrong way UPHILL So back down to the bottom and try again After a very long hard slog we made it to the bridge under the railway and had a break. The next bit was horrendous and I was at the verge of turning back but thanks to Chris carried on and up into the mini snow storm. At the top helmets where donned and picture taken to show we had done it. THE DESCENT First mile or so done with no feeling in fingers to the top of the rangers trail and the true descen began. I found a lot of it unrideable, big rocks with wheel jamming drops and loose boulders. Being at the back I could see the carnage as it happend, riders over the bars (at least three) and numerous other stacks. Once at the bottom nice fast single track to the Llanberis turning and up the hill to telegraph valley (once again) and the final mega fast run down to the bottom and the digs. Quick change and down to Petes eats for 10.30 for a full breakfast and brew The Digs Part way up Views part way up Made it Views from digs Rest of saturday spent sleeping, eating, walking and being entertained by our two young guests setting there farts alight Sunday did Penmachno on the way home Thanks for a great trip everyone

We timed this to perfection, this morning the whole ridge line upwards in the bottom picture was covered in snow

Unbelievable weekend, cheers everyone. We might have defeated Snowdon, but it has definitely defeated my bike - Snapped spoke, buckled wheel and scored stanchions I still can’t believe that we all managed to do Snowdon with the extra secret loop that can only be found between the hours of 3 and 4AM. Top effort everyone

Cheers Mark for sorting the digs. I enjoyed it even with the extra loop The rangers path is very techy, even Chris push down a couple of bits but I'd like to try the Llanberis path with bigger brakes

i agree, would not be bothered about doing the rangers again as its more of a challenge than fun decent, but i would be well up for doing the llamberis path! unfortunately i did not take any photos on the snowdon adventure as with the detour, cold weather and extremely early start i just could not get motivated enough to get the camera out of my pack. however had a great ride at penmachno today and managed to get some shots in! everyone is this the new look? hmmm... liam and gregg kept me and si laughing all the way round anyway! gregg liam max max and dad dad dad si si gregg gregg liam max max everyone si si gregg liam max and my personal favourite of gregg cheers guys.

Chris mate, you are proper getting your head round that camera aren't you. Really great photos. Go to the top of Suggy's photography class ;D If you find the need to get even more arty, get yourself a Flikr account and share your pics. Goggles and pisspot? Looks like something Max would wear. Doesn't it give you sweaty balls? (eyeballs)
